| [Note Guidelines] Photographer's Note |
Sparrow- tail butterfly (Papilionidea) is a member of one of a family that includes the greatest butterflies in the world. The composition of the b.f. color – representing dangerous (yellow & red) tell other not to try eating him.
The caterpillar eats poisons vegetation and keeps the poison in his body.
This B.F. didn’t move even when I reached 15 CM from him so this picture was taken from this distance with my 18 mm lens. |

c'est dommage que la pdc ai été faite sur l'arrière du papillon, la tete est floue, mais sinon, c'est un cadrage magnifique et le sujet est très bien pris

How did you get so close to it? This is goregeous, I don't think it needs anymore sharpness, though having on the head could have improve it.
Beautiful shot!In the workshop I've only tried to improve a little the sharpness...I hope you don't mind!
The one of the most beautiful butterfly collection here in TE. Litte blur on the upper left of the butterfly...ben
