What a comic moment that you captured! You could write a whole story around this moment. The reflections are very beautiful and I like how you have managed DOF to emphasize your subjects.

Great, another Antartica shot! I was waiting for that! Very nice moment you've caught here. I like these pinguins on the right, the left one seeming to 'attack' the most right one. One's watching, one is laying on the ice, and one sleeping? Very nice, 5 different postures caught. The DOF is extreme, very good, this focusses the attention to the pinguins.
The sharpness is sublime. Contrast between pinguins and surroundings is good, background contrast not so, but I think not so important.

Amazing job you've done here with the long lens and teleconverter.
Really nice. Thumbs up!

Trop fun... Incroyable, les expressions qu'ils ont tes manchots, pour un peu on aurait envie de les faire parler dans des bulles, comme sur les BD...
En tout cas, celui de droite est en train de se prendre une sacrée remontée de bretelles, wow... je parie que c'est sa femme, à gauche :-D

Bonsoir Antoine,

I spent a few months in the Antarctic many years ago, long before a camera was affordable, so these sort of shots bring back happy memories. I like the way you've composed this, the small ice shelf is well placed, the abstract reflections are wonderful and your dof is excellent. What makes it extra special are the two on the right having a domestic, with the one in the middle mildly interested and the two on the left completely disinterested! the two on the right are a bit like many married couples I know! A superb post, well done.

Un très beau rendu de cette "scène de ménage"! Le focus est particulièrement réussi et complète une netteté excellent des "personnages" principaux. J'aime beaucoup les reflets sur cette eau glacée.

Moi qui ne suis pas particulièrement fan des photos d'animaux, j'avoue que celle ci me plaît beaucoup !
La compo est équilibrée, la map faite au bon endroit, et la pdc bien gérée
J'aime ces couleurs et cette teinte froide qui rafraîchissent bien en ce moment

Very good composition. The thickness of the ice is visible. The posture of the pinguins is funny, there is good captured scene. It seems they have some words, a neighbour has the intention to get involved, while others are not interested at all. What a simularity with the humans world!
