Photographer’s Note
People waiting for the train.
Post image processing consisted of conversion to B&W in PS using a plug in that allowed me to tone the image, then after a slight boost in contrast, then the unsharp mask.

I like all in this photo.
First of all the composition : it's a great idea to have cut the characters and to have based the composition on the shadows.
Also the light, which is really nice and have an incredible depth.
Then the post-processing with perfect contrasts.
And, last but not least and the most important in my eyes : the atmosphere, the ambiance.
So for me it's a really wonderful work, congratulations and thank you Jim !

The long shadows do convey the feeling that time is standing still... I like your composition here.

There is never a dull moment in life- even something so mundane as waiting at a railway station can yield such opportunities. Excellent subjective slice of daily life.

The shadows are terrific especially that they were placed in a diagonal fashion. The B&W treatment with a slight sepia tint works well for this too - sets the ambiance of waiting.
I always learn a lot from your shots - from composition to your seeing things differently, and also your post processing, which thankfully, you enumerate in your shots.
