Photographer’s Note
A shot of the arches and window work in the beautiful "Our Lady's Church" in Brugge, Belgium. The church is famous for its artwork & sculpture, including a Michelangelo Madonna & Child. Also there are the mausoleums of Mary of Burgundy & her father, Charles the Bold, in highly detailed bronze work. The church itself is essentially gothic in style.

I love the capture of dramatic light and shadows here. Great POV with the arches above and in a slightly diagonal row through the composition. Thankyou for the background info!

Hi James,
I can almost feel the soft light shining through the old windows into the coolness of the church. Very nice view of this interior.

I like the bright lighting on this wall which I gather is from the sunlight shining through from the other side. The effect does make for an interesting study of highlights and shadows. Excellent capture James! Thanks for sharing.
