| [Note Guidelines] Photographer's Note |
| I took this picture while on a trip to Ireland for our 1st anniversary. There was a pull-off for cars, so people could stop and look at the scenery, and these flowers were there as if someone planted them for the tourists. I should have left more space above the mountain and below the flowers because when cropping for a 4x6 or 5x7, I have to cut something off - so I learned a big lesson with this photo. |

Hi Cathy,
welcome to TE. Nice flowers, I haven't seen those in Ireland. It seems that you detected by your own some parts to proceed. Keep on sharing.

Flowers are very unusual in the circumstances like this. Thank you for sharing. The background needs more color, but photo is really interesting.

Cathy,
You clearly have a good eye for composition. The 'obvious' image is to use the rocks and foreshore as the foreground, leading to the sea and the cliffs in the background. You have taken a very different, and very effective approach.
A slower shutter speed with smaller aperture could have kept everything in sharp focus, from the lilies in the foreground to the cliffs at the back. I think that would have created an even stronger image than this already is.
Very nice work.
Bonjour Cathy ,
jolie prise de vue . Christian

Hi Cathy,
You choose a beautiful backdrop for these lovely flowers. I also love the soft warm colors that give this photo a dreamy look.
