Photographer’s Note
El Zocalo is the designation for the central square of a city, in Mexico. In Ciudad de Mexico, the Zocalo is the Plaza de la Constitucion, a very lively place wich attracts mexicans and tourists.
It is very common to find demonstrations of indian dance in this central square. The picture was taken on a sunday morning, when one of such demonstrations was occuring. The colourful feathers and the exhuberant dance make for a very attractive scene.
