Photographer's Note
Taken on Isla Taquile, and island situated on Lake Titicaca. The men that inhabit this island wear woolen hats which they knit themselves, they wear red hats if they are single and red and white hats if they are married. The people on this island rarely marry non Taquile people. There are no vehichles here and not even bicyles, the island is about 6-7km long. Walking around the village I came accross these three girls and I just could not resist a photo.
You can reach the island by boat from Puno on the mainland and can stay overnight. You have to climb up hundreds of steep stairs to get to the top of the island where the village is.

A charming triple portrait, Wanda. You caught some great expressions on the faces of the three girls and I like their poses, especially the one on the left clutching her feet.
Good one.
Cheers,
Ben

La resignacion en los niños es lo mas duro del altiplano andino. Una buena foto en la que esta resignacion se ve reflejada en las miradas de estas tres niñas.

Hi Wanda,
seems to be a very natural scene. THe children have a lot of innocence in theirselves (like most children).
I like it.

Hi Wanda,
Cute faces which are far from the urban unnaturality. I like their poses, they look ashamed very much but in the same time curious and proud.
Nice triple portrait,

Hi Wanda,
The kids there are so cute. I went crazy taking pictures of a little girl whem we went there. Those 3 are really irresistible and they didn't seem to botter at all of you taking their pictures, they smilled to you! Their glances and expressions are precious!

Changing continent... I've been on lake Titicaca as well a long time ago. it seems that poverty is still there in a big way looking at the children and the background. You catched really interesting expressions on their faces with the middle one in particular.

Hi Wanda!
Wonderful picture and lovely expressions! Three girls, three glances, three pieces of life...Lots of emotion and natural expression here, they almost seem to be old ladies with a long past, a hard life. Great one!
Regards, Seb

Hi Wanda
Your photograph is very nice.
I like much the expressions of the children, especially that of left which is more natural than the two others. You have taken a photograph of this child alone?
I received your mail and I will write to you very soon.
Your country is superb... ;o)
Best regards

Totally adorable photograph of three totally adorable kids.
It's so...Peruwian!
By these girls faces, their clothes, their Inka's characters carved for millenias into the flesh of these people.
Do I hear the flute music of the Andean mighties?
All the best for you, Wanda

Simply excellent photo. Not the sharpest. Composition isn't the best. Colors are the greatest. There is just something about it that makes it really aesthetically pleasing. Maybe it's the expresiions of the children. Maybe it's the combination of "lack of's" that make it feel like an older type photo that looks like one taken when travel meant adventure (except for the color) I don' know but it is really good.
