Photographer’s Note
Our bus that was set to leave Marinduque early morning of the Parada ng mga Morion (Parade of the Morion) that was delayed for half a day, was more of a blessing than a curse. We were into a last hurrah of the Moriones Festival, probably one of the most colorful festivals in the Philippines.
My friend gamely posed for the photo as we were trying on different morion masks. Post processing done to smoothen the background and desaturate it, as it is, the background is very much distracting.
