[Note Guidelines] Photographer's Note
A view of the Tower Bridge at night. It was not a calm night, and I did not have a tripod. Does anyone have a suggestion about reducing or removing the graininess? I noticed most of my dusk and evening photos tended to be less crisp and clear than my daytime photos. Thanks for your comments!

Hey good framing and POV,
for noise you can try noiseninja its really good to eliminate noise off your digital photos,
even Adobe PS will do it, Filter - Noise - Median :D
The best way to aviod noise is to use the least ISO ie 100 or below if your camera supports it.
Cheers,

Lovely photo. Nice considering the dull dark sky. Great colour and detail in your image. The grain is probably caused from the high ISO used for this photo. What you'd need to do is use a lower ISO, and a slower shutter speed. But for this, you'd need a tripod.

Hello Lorna! Beautiful colours and reflexion! Nice point of view! Greetings! Lili

Hello Lorna
I think you've done really well with this photograph considering the circumstances. The dark clouds enhances the effect greatly. Neatimage does reduce noise quite effectively, but you tend to lose some details too unless you're careful. I've done a small WS using this software. But what I did before that was to do some colour toning in Picassa. Do let me know because you're the best judge

This is beautiful! The reflection on the water almost looks like a painting. You could hand-remove the graininess with the blur-tool on photoshop, but that would be rather time consuming.. To be honest, I didn't even notice the graininess, the photo content is so eye-catching!
