This is a very beautiful shot. What should be the managememnt of light and shades, your shot expresses them in the texbook context.
Perfect use of the silhoutee as the tree and the bridge is glowing wiht the orange sky.

Hi Sayan,
This is one of the most photogenic faces of Kolkata and one of my favourite place too. You were fortunate enough to be witness to this magical sunset and qualified enough to capture it for all of us. Apart from the burning colours, the overhanging branches and the boats make this a pefect composition. 1/2 sec exposure! Just curious, did you use a tripod or some kind of a support?

Its my kolkata. Great composition. The twilight gives a wonderful effect.The placement of the boats are nice and give a nice perspective.
Only the boats at the right bootom looks overprocessed.

very interesting pov of vidyasagar setu in the light og setting sun. the branches of the tree in front give the pic a natural framing as well. nice capture of daily life on boats too. tfs.

its a lovely composition for sure. Foreground and background both have something to offer. There seems to be a lot of noise on the boats, and Im wondering if you used aggressive pp to bring out details from the darkness. That sort of pixelation can happen whjen coaxing details out of dark areas in a jpg.

Fabulous shot...and your PP work to bringout the details of the boats works well here..It's true about the noise when you do that & using noiseware sometimes does more harm than good. The light is fantastic behind the Setu as well as the artificial lights. Admirable steady hands for such a long exposure..the shake is not visible. Excellent Sayan

Greetings Sayan.
You are right to point out the beautiful lighting of this shot. The simple colors in low light are stunning. I really like the faint glow of light coming from a couple of the boats. Great composition as the tree branch looks like it supports part of the bridge. Good combination of traditional and modern looks also.
