During the days of october and november, the day time will be pretty hot and humid and hight time will be peppered with rain. I tamil there is a saying. Translated it says, it's so hot that gold will melts (during daytime) and it's rains so hard that it melts the sand (during nigttime)
This humble dog was resting in the tiny shadow space for pretty long time, when the shadow space shrinked it walked away to find a new spot to avoid the sun
