A photo of Bergen harbour at dusk. The ship under the bridge is one of the coastal steamers (Hurtigruten). These ships sail all along the Norwegian coast from south to north and is very popular with tourists from all over the world.

the atmospher in the picture is great, the water are wonderful, the sky are fantastic.
but I think you sould have take more attention to the composition, I don't know what exactly, but I think you could do better.
and yet, nice shot.

Very nice. What makes the image for me are the reflections in the water, the early evening atmosphere and the boats shining with lights. Very nice compo. Well done.

Great to see another contributor from coastal Norway! I enjoyed your picture, I have recently posted a similar one taken in Tromsø. As an alternative, both of us could have chosen to include more sea than sky, or opposite - more sky than sea. The division in three equal parts (sea/bridge/sky) does give a sort of static impression.

This is a lovely photo and I appreciate the composition very much. That you've captured such a clear image in what appears to be the onset of the evening, including the ripples in the water in the foreground and the bridge structure in the distance is fine.

My father's family is from Trondheim in the north while my mother's family is from Stavanger in the south. I've never visited Norway but it is always a delight to see photographs from my ancestral home. Thank you.
