Photographer’s Note
In the grounds of Mount Edgecumbe close to the sea there is an old building which was a gun emplacement for the protection of Plymouth Sound. [Plymouth as far as I know has never been invaded from the sea.]I am always looking at windows and this caught my eye. The building is 16th century.I hope that you like it.

Hi Jean,
I have a theme of 'Windows & doors' to which this will added because it's the most unusual one in the collection. It's lovely and sharp with good detail and texture in the stone. Well done.
Kind regards
Stephen

Hi Jean,
perfect detail, beautiful and inventive. It is very interesting, how many colours stones can have.
I wonder if the builders payed attention to decorative placing of the stones, or it is only a random.
Cheers,
Lucia

Nice texture, I like anything made out of old stones, things that last. They just know how to make beautiful things with stones nowadays.
