Photographer’s Note
Going through Boisbriand yesterday, I stopped to photograph those rails going in every directions, with engines and wagons left here and there. On the top-left of the picture, there's the Blainville-Montreal train that I take each day to go to work. But it's not what I chose as the focal point, deciding to focus on the beautiful red engine to which the rails guide our looks.

Nice shot. I like all the twisting of the tracks and the splash of color with the train.

très belle profondeur d'image, Martine!
c'est vrai que le rouge du train fait une touche de vie dans cet environnement un peu gris... bien vu!

You're right Martine, the tracks lead the eye very effectively to the dramatic red engine which is perfectly positioned. I like the contrast of the rather hazy grey background and I think the photo's very well composed.

why isn't more ppl commenting on this image? :(
I love the interlocking system of tracks show here
the track in the foreground, yes its a good lead in to the red engine :))
Kept me wondering and trying to work out where the red engine being shunted to, I guess it would be the reversed "S"
Nice!
