Photographer’s Note
The London underground system is a paradise for photographers. Millions of people come and go everyday, and if one has the time, he could just stand in one place and wait for his hunt.
I took many shots in the tunnels and in the trains, but I love this most of all, especially thanks to the funny ad sign.

Oh thanks for sharing this memories from London - The tube surely my favourite choice of transportation on stays in London - just get a traveller card one zone and of we go ;-)
I tried to take a similar shot on my last visit to London and on one occasion an elderly couple was close by - the asked if I was taking photos of them - but I wasn’t (;)
Good capture and memories Yitzhak.

(you made me miss London more..)
very beautiful..I loved the curved lines all intersecting..it is luck to find a station with so less people...(I wish I could read the ad they used that book...it is an old book, made me curious how they used it in this ad)

Funny to see that you post also a underground picture... the angle you choose is very original... Good picture for TE!

Nice one Yitzahk.
i like the angle, it gives speed to the shot. the 2 people in the background is also very important.
Welle done.

The deep tilted pespective and circle shapes are nice, but I think the cropping is too lose. The two seated people, the circular end wall, the train, the lettering on the edge of the platform and the poster are the important parts here, I tried to crop close around these things, please see my WS.

Nice shot, i like the 'dynamic' angle and the position of the train in the shot. the curved structure is emphasised by your pov. I might have cropped a little off the bottom and possibly the top too, but i think torbens WS is too square for this shot. Great shot.

Good one Yitzhak. I really enjoy the sign... This is a fun shot to look at. The angle that you used and the distortion created by your lense make for such good composition.
So where are the millions of people, I just see two...

Yes, that's a fun shot and a great angle, Yitzhak. The slight blur suggests motion, and there also is some distortion that actually enhances the feel. I like to see the "mind the gap" writing, reminds me that at the London Transport Museum you can buy T-shirts that say Mind the gap. Never saw anybody wear one of those though ...

One thing I like in this image is the "fish-eye distortion. It increases the movement feeling and the feeling of being in a tunnel. The dinamic is higlhy increased by the leaning composition.
About the add, we can interpret it many ways... The calm of reading against the daily life stress, and a more sexual approach of the tunnel and the train... ;-)
Hope I'm not being HardCore wit this XXX coment!

This is a great shot of the Tube, Yitzhak, at an interesting angle. Nice perspective. I like the touches of red and yellow in the shot. Well captured.

The Joy of Sex = trains in tunnels? OMG !
A slightly different way of illustrating mass rapid transit. Thanks for sharing.

Essence of London, fantastic perspective - well done!

After seeing your photo, I tried the same on the tube, but lacked both your wideangle and apparently your skills...

A good crisp shot with a hint of blur on the train to give movement. Original angle add to impact. Good shot under difficult lighting conditions. Well held at 1/13th
