[Note Guidelines] Photographer's Note
One of my favorite places in and around Chongqing is the old ferry crossing of Tong Jia Xi. It's name can be poetically translated into the Tong family stream, and perhaps in the past it was picturesque. Anymore, however, it is a light industry community with an old lane down to the river. On days that include the number 4 (the 4th, 14th, 24th)there is a market day, where a migrant family sells all kinds of roasted nuts and sunflower seeds. On this day, there was a fresh batch of chestnuts in the making.
