Photographer’s Note
In Burma being a monk is a promise future.
It means food education and respect; so many families are sending their suns and daughters to monasteries.
Nobody has marked this note useful

excellent shot Yuval! This is very well composed on a diagonal line. They have such a gentle look and glance;-) interesting note too. We all assume they will all become monks later but having discussed with quite a few novices or monks, it appears to be more like an education, or way of living. They decide at a further stage whether they want to remain monks or not; thanks for sharing ! i posted a ws to get rid off the noise that is bothering me abit;-) Not much change anyway, this is an excellent photo

Beautiful picture, good composition. Usually the monks are very similar for the first, and second sight. Here I really enjoy, that the same dress and hair style could'n hide the small characters. Really lovely!

This is a superb picture. It looks spontaneous and their different gazes are ebgaging. The colors are very good and the compostion is made interestig because of all the lines.

I am always surprised of how young buddhist monks can be. It is a very beautiful pic, the boys are posing in a very natural way.
