[Note Guidelines] Photographer's Note
Most international city in Germany, the largest financial centre on the continent. In brief, to the smallest metropolis in the world, in which there is a lot to discover at close hand. Almost one in three of the people living in Frankfurt do not hold a German passport. The view of Frankfurt’s bold high-rise architecture is just as attractive and yet very different.

Their facades are made of glass or cement. Sometimes they are narrow, sometimes round, sometimes pointed, sometimes with and sometimes without an antenna. They have given Frankfurt the sobriquet of ‘Mainhattan’. Back in the fifties, the Kaiserdom with its 96 metres was still the highest building in the city. Today, the Commerzbank Tower, with its antenna, stretches almost 300 metres into the sky. In total, some one hundred high-rise buildings tower over the city, most of them bank and office buildings.

Perfect timing to get this shot - the light from the sky is balanced by the light from the buildings. I really like the reflection too, which gives this a nice glow. Well done!
