Rosa & Edison: Nov.30, 2005

Just under a year since the kids were living & sleeping on this very street in Manila - Rosa, Edison & their Family are now living in an abandoned building they used to sleep outside of.

Their Grandfather Willie works hard trying to make a living for the Family, parking & washing cars on the street there - and must pay about $19.00 a month to the Landlord of an abandoned slum movie house, so the Family and a few other local homeless Children he's trying to rescue can have some shelter there, although there is no electricity, running water or bathroom fascilities.

In spite of all that, Rosa & Edison feel safer there, off the streets - and it shows in Edison's smile as Rosa shares her pinball game outside that building with her brother, who she's very protective of.
