Photographer’s Note
Image was shot in late afternoon along the "Wild and Scenic" portion of the Rio Grande, about 35 miles upstream of Drydens Crossing. The image captures the light and dark moods of the river - as just hours before this peaceful scene, the river claimed one of our canoes.

I like the different colours of two side, one side is shadowed while the other is clearly shown. The contrast make it unique, and you shot it at the right angle. Well done, welcome to TE.

Beautifull scenery, very wll exposed, and with this contrast certanly was dificult.
Great the inclusion of the canoe, between the gigant rocks (sorry, no more points today)

A fine play with perspective and shadows. I like how the picture is symmetric except for the light.
And welcome to TE, you made a fine start!

WELCOME TO TE DAVID. I like the contrast between the dark side and the bright side of the photo. I like the colors too.

Very nice. Great perspective. And very nice reflections. There is a great contrast between the lit and shaded sides of the canyon, too. The river gives a nice path through this and its given nice closure by the bend up ahead. Gives it some nice jogs for the eye to follow. And the boater ahead is a nice touch. Adds to the photo pulling me in like I too am on a boat. Nicely done.
