| [Note Guidelines] Photographer's Note |
Well I know there are probably a thousand photos of the Eiffel Tower on TrekEarth, but everyone has their favourite shot!
This was a great moment. It was all so romantic with the old fashioned food stall making crepes and selling gelati, kids breakdancing infront of us, photos being snapped everywhere.... Wish I was there tonight! |

Hi Larissa,
your wide-open aperture (2.8) has given you a very soft focus that enhances the the romantic feel of the photo.
Larry
Hi Larissa, I'm one of the guilty ones too - the Tower has a cameo role in two images in my gallery :-) I think you've done quite well here. As Larry has written, the wide aperture has allowed a softness which complements the blur of the people. The placing of the people is good too. You've also achieved a nice tonal range in the blacks and whites. All it needs to be a VERY good image is for the Tower to be absolutely pin-sharp but I appreciate you didn't have a tripod. Nice try though and I look forward to more of your photos. Stephen
