This is a familiar scene in the central desert region of Iran where there exsist the least annual rain. you wuill see such a dried earth all around yourself when you enter the desert.

The patterns created by this are great and way it recedes into the distance. I think if you returned here towards sunset when the light is warmer and had some foreground interest that told us more about any objects that might be found in such a place, you could get some very interesting photos

I like this shot for its simplicity. The composition is pretty good. My only suggestion would be to include a rock or something that broke the pattern of the broken ground. Besides that it's well metered and composed. Thanks for sharing,
