The morning after Photo

Photographer’s Note

Taken from the Marina di Campo beach in Elba Island, in Tuscany.

Taken after a sea storm, in the morning, at sunrise, looking south.

I went early in the morning on the beach because there where two sailing ships run aground (one is the Cinderella).

The sailing ship in the photo, instead, resisted the whole night anchored in the middle of the bay.

I like the warm morning atmosphere with the golden sunrise sunlight and the background scenery.
Sorry for putting the boat in the center of the image (next time i'll think twice ;)

I want to thank all the people for the positive critiques to this photo. I re-posted the image after a NeatImage pass to remove some of the digital noise in the upper part of the image. I think now it is a little better.

Beautiful image the yellow sky with a slightly blue sea and the relatively distant sail boat makes a good comp

Hello Alberto,

beautiful composition, full with serenity, I find just that the boat is centered a little too much, by shifting the aiming a little towards the line, and by removing the band of beach, for me it would be perfect.

Beautiful light here! I really like the way that you have aranged the scene so that the mountain slope leads down to the ship. I also enjoy the quality of the clouds and how the boat is almost silhoette and thus passing into the realm of idea...
