| This is a typical narrow street of Cefalù in Sicily. You really understand why scooters and motor cycles are so poular. They are very useful to get around here. Cefalù is a former fishing village , now a small town, about 70 kilometers from Palermo. It is situated on the gulf of Termini Merese on the foot of a rocky crag called La Rocca. The town is a maze of winding streets. Cefalù is dominated by the 12th century Norman cathedral - Il Duomo. It also has a very attractive and easily accessible beach. The name Cefalù' is derived from the Greek 'Kephaloidion'. The meaning of it is head. |

Hi Ulf,
Wonderfull little street !
We can retrieve the atmosphere of south.
The lighting is very well managed and highlightes all the architecture, moreover the balconies.
Well done
Regards
Jean-Louis
Excellent composition, POV and light. I like that scooter from the FG.

Wonderful mood picture of an italian street. I would have a hard time getting my car through there. Somehow, I miss the wash strung across between houses. Must not be wash day, I guess. You handled the extremes of light and shade nicely.
Cheers
