Taronga Zoo - Mosman Sydney with the city and harbour as a magnificant backdrop. Thought Skyscrapers was very fitting title for both the Giraffe and the buildings :)

Great idea for a photo, Lee. Good composition, excellent depth of field and perfect exposure. And the giraffe is looking straight into the camera. The skyline in the background is quite interesting too.

Wonderful visual analogy between the height of the giraffe and the skyscrapers in the back. Her pose and gaze are perfect and the composition is just right. Nice colors and sharp detail. Thanks for sharing! -Lara

Hi Lee,
I remember this scene from my two visits to Sydney. And have tried to shoot it as well, but never got such a good pose. Good position next to high towers. Sunny weather. Sharp from front to back.

A beautiful photo, and very clever name. The framing of the city skyline by the giraffe's neck has been very well done. It's a tack-sharp result from what I assume is a prime lens (50mm, f/2.8?).

All in all, a great shot - congratulations!
