Photographer’s Note

Yes! There is fog everywhere at some stage around the world. It's early morning. It's not cold and the sun is starting to burn off the sea fog along the shore. It's middle spring and summer feels as if its on its way at Walkerville, near Cape Liptrap on the Southern-Australian mainland coast. (Tasmainia is all that's left between here and the Antarctic.)It's an excellent morning for a beach-side stroll. The picture has been warmed just a small amount in PP to make the fog more welcoming.

Hi Barry!
Not a very sunny spring morning burt it's so romantic and beautiful. The well chosen pov discovers the greatness of the elements - earth, water and air - all of them dissolved in the others.

Great shot--Your foreground keeps the shot feeling sharp while the background gives strong mood and depth. I like the strong movement from bottom left to upper right (rocks, waves, etc.)

Maybe a little bit underexposed, but that does compliment the heavy mood.

Great shot, very atmospheric and your warming filter has created a great effect, making it appear more humid than anything.

Hi Barry,
This is a beautiful scene. The rocks in the foreground stand out really well amongst the shiny sand. I can only imagine how cold it would be early in the morning at this destination.

J'aime ce genre d'ambiance de mauvais temps aux tonalités froides; ce n'est pas toujours facile de faire une belle photo à ce moment là; celle-ci avec avec cette plage rrocheuse et sauvage perdu dans le brouillard me plait beaucoup

I know Walkerville extremely well (every summer down there since 1974) - I think I've posted a couple of pictures of the area here on TrekEarth. Where is this shot taken from?
