Photographer’s Note

The train ride to the Nariz del Diablo is a popular attraction for tourists in the Ecuadorian sierra, both national and international. Although it can be a long and tiring journey (especially after getting up well before dawn to make sure to catch the train), gorgeous views like this make it worth a go.

Because this was taken from the last car of the moving train, I shot with the ISO speed set to 400 and a fast shutter speed. Despite that, I am still happy with the depth of field here.
