Photographer’s Note
A typical view during the 'yellow season' of the year around the area where I live.
What strikes is the opposing colors Blue and Yellow.
It was the first time a farmer put rape out in this area, it made the village of Gostingen look like 'served on a yellow plate'
The resulting picture was somewhat less spectacular.
I cannot remember if I used a polarizing filter or not...
Contrast was intensified using Photoshop Brightness/Contrast tool, to give the picture the typical 'postcard' effect.

An interesting shot with the contrasting colours indeed!
I would have cropped a bit off the bottom to take away that first 'row' of grass. The colours are magnificent, yet I have to agree with you that the sight on picture is perhaps not as impressive as it might have been in live. Perhaps another approach to the place could have worked better?
You'll have to see when spring comes around again :P
Best regards,
Julia

The light green area seems like a big carpet. Very beautiful. Nice work.

That one brings a lot of nice memories. Have been on vacations in your country at the time you got this picture. I loved the yellow fields.
It looks to me a little to colourful, I would adjust a bit.
Greetings.
Chris
