Photographer’s Note
a day at the ARCHEON
in Alphen aan de Rijn
brings back history
and makes it alive again
and the lady here plays a part
in a "serious" play in a Roman Theatre
where gladiators have their battle
and one must die..........

Hello Albrecht:))))
This is a very good, exotic portrait touching also the daily life of the woman.
It is well cropped and composed!!
Thanks, A.

Hello Albrecht,
Excellent shot, with good composition, I like the placement of the woman in the frame and the expression on her face. Warm colours and good sharpness.
Well done
Thanks for sharing

Hi Albrecht,
You've captured great detail and color in this well-framed photo. I think this actress would be proud to use your photo for her portfolio.

Bonsoir Albrecht,
Très bon cadrage pour ce personnage représentant les luttes des arènes romaines.
Très riches couleurs et force détails.
Superbe mise au point.

Hi Albrecht. OK, first off let me say taht from the thumbnail, or from closer inspection, there is no way I would associate this with Holland. The clothing and darker skin seem more Northern African. Stupid I would think any of this, as I have never been to either Holland nor northern Africa, just my ignorance showing up I guess. The colors here are very nice; I think the shot is maybe a little underexposed but that does tend to make for pleasing saturation. I wish she had a little better expression on her face and I think a looser crop would be my preference too. The looser crop might have helped with cutting through her wrist, which I don't care for.
I am sure it was an interesting play.

Hoi Albrecht,
Verder ... mooie foto ;)

Albrecht: more and more fine compos in your gallery. Of course, I wouldn't have suspected this image from a lowland country. regards, c

Hello Albrecht. In the Thumnail it looked like a picture from India. The text clears me up now. Thus: a woman from old Rome in the Netherlands. The photo is composed outstanding and well taken. A beautiful photo. It pleases me very well. Greeting, Wolfgang.
