Photographer’s Note
Another scene from Sunday Market in Bac Ha, as you can see here there is just too much action. It is a big day for local people.

Very beautiful and colorful shot here, Maciek!
I supposed this is some kinds of market? The color would be more accurate with your new camera but this is already nice. Well captured as usual.

Rewelacyjne zdjęcie Maciek! Te kolorowe chustki na głowach... Super. Bardzo mi się podoba. Fajna perspektywa, musiałeś na czymś stanąć, czy taki wysoki jesteś??
Pozdrawiam!

Another very busy and colourful shot of this amazing market. I say it every time, but I find the range of colour fascinating. The people look so busy, they don`t seem to care that you are among them with your camera.

Fantastic almost abstract looking with many colours. They all seem to be wearing some kind of amazing uniform. Are there only a few choices of dress?

An incredible array of colours, Maciej. And you have also captured some interesting expressions on the people in the market. Well framed. Well done.

I like how your picture is so full of detail without giving the impression of being cluttered. Since my perennial problem is sharpness and grainness of my pictures, I even more admire how sharp, clear and neat your pictures are! Great colours, too!

Even with the immense variety of colours, people and clothing your composition doesn't seem to feel too "crowded" or "restless". And what a catch to have that man in black there on the right! A vibrant and lively picture, excellent work Maciej!

Great shot, great color and coposition.
Very well chosed the inclusion of the man in black on oposit of all the vibrant colors, and excellent his blured hand giving even more action to the scene

I love the colours and the detail. this is a fine POV for showing off this much action at once.
I don't care for the heavy border, it does suit the cloth of the people to the right but sems a bit "too much". Perhaps a little thinner?

I like this shot in that is shows a wealth of activity in a busy market. I also like that you are taking the shot completely unnoticed. However Maciek, there are some technical details which bother me. First, the whole thing is a little bright, the colors seem a little oversaturated and a little too contrasty for my tastes. In some areas, especially where there is a pink, I believe things are totally blown out. No details are visible, just an area of bright pink. I know you like bright, contrasty colors, so this may be simply a difference of opinion, but for me, it is a little overwhelming. There are also some blown out white areas at the top of people's hats and I am guessing this was taken pretty much midday. Softer light and lower contrast would work better for me. Like I said, I really like that you seem to have taken this shot with the people unaware, I wonder if the woman in the foreground would appreciate you posting a photo of her picking her nose? Good shot Maciek, but I still hope for more from you.

Ditto to the above. Fantastic range of colour & contrasts with good dof.

you always seem to get the brightest images great job here as well. good job framing this up but the woman at the very bottom is a little distracting.

Great picture Maciek. I like the colors very much. I like the chaos of it all. Despite the many shapes and colors, I stillcan focus on one lady in particular, the one in green. Very good shot.

I like this one. So much too look at here, so many different colors...overload for the senses! Anyway, compo is nice, I really like the fact that you got the old guy in the frame as well and the motion blur of his hand makes the image a wee bit more dynamic. In all regards an excellent shot. Well done.

A market is normally already a living place...this one is has so vivid colours, is crisp sharp and rich in details, people attitude is also of a particulary wide range. Rich and powerful shot.

very busy photo maciek! I like the colors and the way everybody seems to be hectic buying things... are they also shopmaniacs? or market maniacs? somehow the abundance of colors drowns every details in one big color ... nice photo

Perhaps almost too much color. It's great. I've seen few shots here with so much activity and diversity in hue. Great.

This is a really 'full on' picture isn't it? You've manage to pack in a staggering amount of colour and detail - it really is incredible. And then there's the people's faces too. I really feel involved with this photo. It's so appealing

Wow, what a great shot, so many colors, a fantasy of colors, actually. I like the repetition of the scarfs on the women's heads - there green type rules there, but there are also other colors. Great shot, Maciek.

I agree with Darren concerning the color saturation, if you closely look to the magenta zones (head scarves), it's pixelling with saturation. Then it seems you wanted to beef the contrast up and outrageously, but it didn't pay because some of the brighter areas are overblown. Don't play too much with that, you don't need it, really... ;-)
There's also the blurred hand protruding from who knows where, it's only after a while that you realize that this forgotten hand belongs to the man in black on the right, who's ok in the shot, closing the pic, but unfortunately not his hand to my taste.
Otherwise the compo is really good because, on the contrary of your other less structured Bac Ha pics, you have there a real backbone with the diagonal alley filled up with layers of colors.
Fine but I still think your post process didn't go any good to the photo.

A lot of action, for sure, and beautifully captured in your usual impeccable style Maciej. Colour and sharpness is amazing, and there is so much detail to interest the eye. great.
