Photographer’s Note

I was surprised to see bald female monks in Nara commemorating an ancient event. Coming from a Catholic nation, the first image that always come to my mind when I hear monks are men, not women. I guess I have a lot to learn from the world. Watching their backs, one can't distinguish men from women.

Hello Tam! The colors and composition are very catchy as a thumbnail. Nice job sharply capturing the progression of monks. I guess I assumed they were male originally too.

The march of the monks just resonates with this truth.

I like your composition, and you chose a nice angle to photograph them from. The colours are, focus seems good... technically a great photo. ^_^

This is very interesting... I agree, it is hard to tell they are women! If you hadn't have said I would have assumed they are men!

That's for sure a very intereisting picture. First the graphism is really nice and you've managed to make a nice perspective on the alignment of the 'lady-monks'. Then the colors are really jice and they inspired me a small workshop.
I hope you'll like it and that it is still in the general atmosphere of your own version.
