Photographer’s Note
Stonehenge on Salisbury Plain in Wiltshire, of course. One of those places that still has a perceptible aura to it, and which we don't really understand.
Although many theories have been put forward as to what Stonehenge is, and why it is where it is, my personal view is that it was seen linking the earth to the sky. Whatever the truth, it's an extraordinary place.
Taken using a Dimage Z20 with no flash or tripod, UV lens. Image slightly adjusted for saturation. The real trick was to take it without showing any of the crowds of tourists - it CAN be done if you're patient enough!
