Photographer’s Note

My wife on the beach on Bora Bora. We were on honeymoon for three weeks, taking in four different islands in French Polynesia. The picutre was taken from our beachfront hut. Weather varies there - often cloudy and grey, but lots of sunshine too. I think the overcast light helps the mood of this particular picture though. Ideally I'd have moved the chairs out of the foreground, but I wanted to capture her pose before she moved (she didn't know I was taking the photo at the time, and I prefer not to artificially pose portraits).
