West Tatra Ridge Photo

Photographer’s Note

The West Tatra is probably one of the most beautiful places in Slovakia. The peaks on the main ridge all reach above 2000m and are fairly accessible. It's possible to walk almost the whole ridge.

This photo is taken from Banikov 2178m. The three peaks in the foreground are Hruba kopa 2166m, Placlive 2125m and Ostry Rohac 2088m.

you captured well the West Tatras.
The place where you were standing offers great view.The path leads the eye along the ridge.
