Photographer’s Note
This bridge is built and taken down every year. Out on the island ther is a lot of agriculture, so the business in Kompong Cham pay for this bridge for the farmers living there. During the monsoon the water grows to wild for any bridge to stand, so it's taken down for later to be rebuilt again. I don't remember how long it was, but at least a hundred meters.

What an amazing structure, I think you captured the nature of it well with this tele-perspective. Having those two figures in the frame is a great capture and gives a double meaning to the title, both river and people exist in steady and wild form.

Great shot Terje. Nice composition. I like this two person, especially this boy jumping to the river.
Well done!

Hi Terje. For the most part I like this shot, but for me there are two things here which divide my attention. First, and what I like the most about this shot, is the action you caught of the young boy. When I have been in Cambodia, I have often seen kids having just a great time with whatever is at their disposal. They dont' need a GameBoy or anything like that, they just use what is available to them. What I see here is the boy using the bridge for that exact same reason. Because the boy catches my eye immediately and because he is what connects for me, I wish he was larger in the frame. The bridge is interesting to be sure and your note is excellent. I do wish I could see more of the walking surface of the bridge, but that may just be a personal opinion. Good shot, but I don't know if it is up there with your best.

ha, i think the main attraction of the picture is a bit too small - a boy jumping to the water? and i really like this bamboo bridge - very interesting structure. nice shot

remarkable place, Terje.
smart composition, beccause we have both steady and 'wild' elements in it. they illustrate well your notes.
thanks for sharing.

This is a great shot Terje. The bridge is very unique and you have caught a very good action from the boy. He seems to be in a danger zone. I lie the lower part of the picture but the top part is a bit bland so IMHO, I would crop it tighter on top. Excellent picture though. pts tomorrow.
