Charming capture of this little squirrel ;-) However, it seems that either auto levels or auto colours has played a trick on you. The photo has a blueish cast to it, most noticeable on the squirrel itself.

Hi John,

Nice shot, good close-up of this animal, The sharpness is nice, the animal pops out well, good contrast with the green of the tree too! Nice pose, good timing!
I like less the washed out area's, sure it happened (happens to me too, and you know that) but they are quite present here. And also there is a lot of chromatic abberation, blue/cyan fringe here.
So I also agree with millou about the blueish cast. I tried to do some in a WS. Hope you like it.

Hi John, i'm discovering your gallery and i stop on this one in your random of 3 : so nice écureuil as we say in France, i find them so funny, so fast and quick, you were lucky to got it like that ... I wear a smile each time i see a picture of "them" ;) (don't know if you see the wonderful écureuil picture, if not see the last one i added in my favorites pictures)
