Hi Veronique,
That's a very nice shot, I have to say. I like the superb overview, the colours and sharpness, great details. The idea of the straws in the foreground is a good one, it gives a good sense of the distance. However, I think you've taken it just a little too far, causing them to steal the attention from the real subject. I guess you could obtain the same positive effect by raising the point of view a bit, but at the same time showing the village and landscape more clearly. It's a very impressive and beautiful view, and speaking of which, I would love to get more specific info on the location (if you know it yourself).
