Hello Francois! Great shot, that warm color really catches your eye. It's so very sharp perhaps too sharp, I can see some halo effect around the lamp and shadow. Very nice simple but attractive composition.

Bonjour Francois -

A beautiful image! The composition is very simple and the contrast between the light and the wall is stunning. The shadow really enhances and gives further depth to the image. The wall almost looks transparent - the shadow looks to be on the other side rather than against the wall. Exposure, DOF, POV, sharpness are spot on. Excellent!!

Bonjour, François Olivier. Un sujet très simple mais parfaitement mis en image. L'ombre du réverbère a trouvé un parfait support sur ce mur orangé et il y a une jolie diagonale créée par le bras en fer forgé. Excellente gestion de l'exposition.

Excellent approach to this street lamp. I like a lot the warm tones of the wall, and shadows reflected on the wall. Nice sharpness and light.

Magnifique, épuré, simple, tout est dans l'effet miroir entre la lampe et son ombre... il fallait avoir l'oeil et tu l'as. Bien vu

simple, graphique, colorée, contrastée, cette image est excellente. elle ne me laisse pas indifférent car j'ai meme du mal a exprimer pour le moment ce que je ressent. je pense que je vais l'inspecter un bon bout de temps car elle m'intrigue...
