This is a very dramatic photo. I like the POV and the part of the museum you have shown. The windows are especially nice. Very pretty sky and the sepia was a good choice.

The lack of colour really suits this composition. The low camera angle and the brooding sky work very well. I would have preferred the photo without the bird though.

Very impressive point of view.
The post processing makes this image look very scary, it's actually a very good idea.
The bird could enter very well in the composition (excellent timing by the way) but now I'm not sure that it fits with the choice of colour that you have made. As I said the purpul colour gives a dramatic touch (for me) while the bird looks more peacefull (and might work better with a blue sky maybe);
Anyway, very nice photo!

Hello Andreea,

This is a beautiful shot of the Clock Museum, and with the bird you've captured in fleeting moment, makes it a classic. It is so much better in black and white than, I believe, it would be in color. I am glad it has been garnering the attention that it richly deserves. As a physicist, the notion of time is of great importance for me, and the engineering of fine precision pieces itself is fascinating.

I know this has been critiqued 65+ times already, Andreea, but I couldn't let this go past without adding my two cents worth. This is an excellent example of how such a simple composition with the right light, contrast and PP can be made into an outstanding photograph. I would have been very tempted to clone in a bat instead of the seagull though ;)
