Wow, what a cutey! Great color and well composed. Great capture. The only minor nit is that the focus seems to be more on her hair than eyes. I'm not sure if she was clapping or moving, but I would have liked a bit more DoF.

This is an altogether astonishingly beautiful image of a beautiful child. The composition, perspective, color, all conspire to make it a truly memorable portrait. One aspect you've captured intuitively is putting one eye of the little girl right along the vertical bisector of the canvas.

I am a scientist and artist, and in a book I wrote about Leonardo entitled, "Math and the Mona Lisa." (http://www.bulentatalay.com) I explained a newly discovered principle. Christopher Tyler, a British psychologist/art-lover living in San Francisco discovered in 1998 that a vertically drawn bisecting line passes through one eye, not the nose in portraits by the greatest masters -- So it is in the Mona Lisa. This principle is never taught in art schools; the talented artist discovers it independently! Thank you for sharing this image of the little girl image with us, and the lines from the Moody Blues.
