Photographer’s Note
This is a photo I took at the magnificent Amber Fort, Rajastan, just 12 km outside Jaipur, the Pink city. A mother and her daughter were wandering around the walls, and at some point the housband and father shouted at them. The mother turned to look at him. Somehow, this scene, with the mother looking the other way and the daughter looking straight ahead, giving a slight push to her mother, looked to me like a "change of guard" or some kind of "relay race". Was it the right moment for the daughter to take the first "role"? Maybe yes, maybe no. Whatever happened, it happened with love, like the word written on the ancient wall.

Very beautiful picture. There is so much connivance between the two. You catched it so well. Also the costume of the mother is so beautiful with the wall behind. I love it. Thanks!

Hola Hercules.

Hola amigo,
Saludos

Hi Hercules,
you´ve captured very good contrast here, and i mean not only the "generation gap" but also contrast between the calm wall (actually not so calm, i can read word love there:) and perfect vibrant light-green colour of their dresses. Very very nice alltogether :)

Only the two women make a pair, since they look at different directions, they wear different type of dresses and they also have different expressions on their faces. Very good picture with nice pastel colours and a great central composition.

Kalimera Hercules.
