Sometimes, everyday scenery can take on a very different mood.

Not five minutes drive from my house in the Eastern Bays suburb of Meadowbank, on a foggy morning, this scene presented itself from a footbridge across Purewa Creek.

Not the traditional inner-city view!

Yeah this looks more like the backcountry. Beautiful scene in fog. Nicely thought. It gives the idea of being far away from civilization.

No ghost in white is going to jump out at us on this website Rew??
It was a heavy fog that morning, but here on the North Shore we had no fog, well not around here. I could see it covering Rangitoto most of the morning.

Very atmospheric shot full of mood. Ii's surprising how fog can cahnge any landscape and give it a feeling of mystery.

I love the atmosphere you have captured here. The mist and fog works well to convey the mood. There could have been a little bit more contrast but overall, the shot is great.

i always say that fog creates some excellent condition for excellent compositions. you prove me right again. excellent capture. very mystic mood and the shades of green in this composition is well depicted.

Hi Rew,

This image reminds me of early morning or late afternoon scenery in the Cordillera, northern Philippines. Its only in the higland where this mystic view could be seen here.
