Hi Robert. Excellent image of isolation, grandeur and abandonment. The colour of the earth contrasts dramatically against the deep blue of the sky. The formations are fascinating and the old car adds to the sense of alienation. Well done. Regards. Klaudio

Emilius

Very nice sky lighting, Robert. It looks so very natural. The colors are outstanding.
Well done!

Paulo

Nice colors, but you might want to think about updating your ride!

Great Shot! The polarizer really bring out the clouds in the sky, but it might have washed out the color in the rocks, which I expected to be a bit more red. The shot has a very dramatic look anyways, and a nice diagonal composition. Well done!

Bonjour Robert
Good to have you back after a very long time. The composition is excellent & the sky is very good..the polariser really did wonders. I like your inclusion of the car, because it gives us an idea of the scale
Well done
Regards
Angshu

Hi Robert,
Impressive rock formations, loose stones ready fall everywhere. Nice polarizer boosted sky, and the car that takes us back to forties.
Crop feels a bit tight with the car and traffic sign. Might be better if taken a couple of steps back.
Kari

Colors have come out very good Robert. may be because of the polarizer and the old rotting Car by the side is perfect. Very sharp and attractive picture.

Ciao Robert! No comment. Beautiful! Lili

Hi Robert,

I haven't checked your folio for some time, but now I see what I missed. Great piece of art here, perfect use of the filter - the sky is just stunning. The picture conveys the sense of real west: the rocks, the old timer, the stillnes of the place in the middle of nowhere.

Great stuff!

cheers

Bonsoir Robert,

L'insertion de cette vieille américaine dans ce décort de western américain est très bien vu. Le cadrage est excellent j'aime beaucoup. Quant aux couleur et à la lumière elles sont très belles. Un très beau travail, bravo.

Amitiés,

Jean-Charles

Hello Robert,
Very good textures in the cliffs, which are captured with great colours!
That old car seeems to have been there for a while, how come it isn't removed...
Well framed scenery, and the car contributes to the composition but not to the scenery as such..!
Greetings,
Pablo -

Robert, there is no doubt that you used the polarizer on this one. The sky and the clouds are so typical and I love that. The composition with the twins in the background and this old car seems almost to be a scene of some movie. Good catch!

Hi Robert,
Excellent shot in this difficult light. Wonderful contrast between the blue sky with its interesting cloud patters and the red-brown sandstone. Wonderful sharp details to the magnificent rock formation and the old Oldsmobile in a lovely addition to this excellent image.
Regards, Tom
