[Note Guidelines] Photographer's Note
At the guesthouse we stayed at in Leh, if one looked out of the window of our room, there was a small kitchen garden. This lady could be seen tending that garden all day.

A very spirited, hard-working old lady, she would greet me with a Juleh everytime I came across her. I later learnt she was the mother in law of the person running the guesthouse.

Very nice picture. This lady looks so happy and so friendly. The colours of her costume withing the green of vegattion looks perfect. Congratulations!

Juleh avishek! ;-) i love this place... where did you stay? i stayed at a guesthouse called greenland with a great hostess and an excellent food...i can recongize their outfit and their cap... so many nice memories, from two years ago... thanks for reminding me

She reminds me of my grandmother! Love the tilted head and warm smile...its a great life-affirming composition, much like the way she is tending/nurturing the plants in the garden.
