The northwest-ward view from Fukuoka Tower in Hakata, shot through glass. The tower itself was surprisingly hollow, with no office floor space that I could see. This pier is also known as 'Maruzon'. The observation deck is 123 m above street level, & the tower is 234 m high. More info here:

Nice view, Chris, I like how you play with central symmetry here.

Hi Chris, a strange and unusual view, a sort of giant pattern!
the POV was really excellent as the colours and the light.

Une composition très originale qui donne l'impression d'une photo de maquette. Couleurs, profondeur, netteté sont superbes. Bravo !

Wonderful top view from the tower. Considering the fact that you have captured this through glasses, it is really a great job. The colours and sharpness are great.

Hello Chris, I appreciate the dynamism of framing particularly, with this linear prospect which takes us along of an end has the other of the image, very beautiful camera angle in diving on this small floating paradise, I imagine the height with a little apprehension, this garden wedged profits from an excellent luminosity, which makes it possible to deliver rich contrasts and strong colors, people are well seen to give the scale, sincerely

good lines, good quality and a nice point of view, very good job I like it.

A nice top down view that surprisingly does not look so much Japanese, possibly because the building at the end of the view hints more to a church. This view is very well exposed and the scan is excellent. If this was shot through glasses I can't see any reflection, which is good as well.
Have a nice day,

Plenty of interesting aspects here: Strong POV from high up. Strong geometry. Borrowing different styles from European architecture. Piers, beach, inner garden...
Japanese are experts on squeezing a lot in small space.

Very nicely captured. I like the goemetric patterns created by the scene below,

Impressive POV Chris. Beautiful pier with so many buildings and space. Colors and sharpness are very good. Amazing picture. Good Compo.
Well done. TFS.

Interesting shot Chris, this actually looks more like a model than the real thing, probably because of the angle looking down. Good eye to see the symmetrical buildings along the pier. Well done!

Interesting and quite clear downward view from the tower, Chris. Good sensation of height conveyed, and a nice graphical aspect provided by the symmetrical framing. The lighting at the time of day was quite favorable to render a natural impression of the diverse colors.

Hi Chris. The high POV enabled you to get creative with the framing. I like the lines and shapes quite a bit and think it's the shots strongest aspect. Nice one Chris.

A very amazing design for this pier seen from this fantastic POV.
Thanks for showing us this.

I like this one with the most interesting pov and included details og the pier. The kind of bird perspective is very effective as the pier seems to float out in the water. Well seen, top result.

Great symmetry here, Chris. It really makes the shot.
