Photographer’s Note

this photo was taken in the peloponesian town of Pylos. It overlooks the ionian sea, and is rich in history, natural reserves, and home to the nestor project, an underwater neutrino astrophysics laboratory.
Historically, Pylos is a Mycenaean capital and palace, the traditional home of Nestor (from Homer's Odyssey), located near the modern city of Pylos and the village of Khorsa. Tha palace dates to the Late Bronze Age and is among the best preserved of the Mycenaean palaces in existence.
regarding the photo, what i likes was the reflection of teh pebbles in the water (you can see how clean the water is) the land you see in the background is a little island across from pylos.
