Photographer’s Note
This is the Doku-Zentrum in Nuremberg. During the World War II, this was the Reichsparteitag, the Nazi Party Rallies. Now it is a documentation center, where you can learn a lot about this time. More infos can be found on the Documentation Center site and on the Virtual tour.

This is a nice photo. The softness resulting from the soft lighting is really nice. Makes the entire scene calm. Even the massive building. It really softens it. Gives it nice reflections and shadow. And the trees further soften the place. Really hides the history of the place. Makes it a nice quiet place far removed from the massive rallies of the past. You captured the details of the building nicely, too, in this. But what I really like is how the building is softened in your view and that distance from the past created.

A nice view of this special building and a nice foreground. I think it would be eeven better if you cropped it so the house was of center vertically. I like the big open sky so I would prefer a crop at the bottom to loose some empty water under the boats.
