Photographer’s Note
I took this picture yesterday in the early evening. The sky had been dark off and on all day long and I noticed out of my kitchen window that a rainstorm was happening just over the Eiffel Tower. (You can see the top of the tower in the light area in the distance)I took this shot a minute or so after it had past and was moving on (towards the right side of the frame)
I did a bit of cropping to take out the frame of my window and lightly adjusted the white point using the levels option.

What a great illumination - and especially important: the camera ready in time. In my opinion the picture composition is perfect.
Congratulations, Werner

Ces giboulées de Mars sont souvent impressionantes et il faut pouvoir les prendre au bon moment. Hier également, il avait des phénomènes pareils mais je n'ai pas pu les prendre en photo.
Tu n'as pas vu un arc-en-ciel par après?

Nice view. I like how storms look over cities. And this one has a nice color. Somewhat dark and bleak in the foreground but with the light of the sun making it through at the end in the distance. Somewhat echoes the city itself. The bleak cloud bottom and the bleak apartment blocks but with the more picturesque city hidden somewhere in the distance just like the sun in the sky. Nicely capture. A bit soft, perhaps, but nice shot. You have a nice view out your kitchen.

Nice view. I like very much the photos like this one that shows the neighborhoods and the view from the houses. Very nice colors in the sky. I like very much the tall building at the left.
Did you try to cut the bottom part of the photo?

I love "moody" skies like these, especially here with the red/orange colours of the sunset. Good capture. Good job !
