Especially to invite you to visit the website “Antarctic Mission” of Sedna IV in wintering in the Melchior archipelago close to the Brabant Island… photographs… the winter light, fauna sometimes crual… (see photos et logs of28 and 29 august) it's the nature ; videos, a very interesting log book… all that updated Monday at Friday… take care, danger of addiction, someones will spend hours and will return every days.

And, meeting : photograph and model...

There, I am in Bay of the Paradise in direction of the argentinian base Almirante Brown : pretty cloud and chilean base Gonzalez Videla.

attention la police anti-drogue va bientôt débarquer chez toi pour te retirer toutes ces vues ennivrantes d'Antartique...
C'est tout de même fabuleux de pouvoir assister à un tel spectacle de la nature.
Je suis content que tu es répondu à mes attentes ;)

Ce nuage en haut à gauche est vraiment surréaliste et vient compléter ce magnifique paysage.

Paradise Harbour - yes it certainly looks like Paradise!! Stunning scene, a place not many of us will ever go to see. And your photo is quite amazing. Bravo!

Paul I've spent a long time on your wedbsite, looking at the photos, reading the notes, being quite awed by the whole place. I will Bookmark it and definitely go back again. What a place. And you were there last year? Will you go back this year?

I read the story of the crabeater seal and this comment at the end tells us such a lot:
. . . Antarctica. So goes life, so goes death...

Excellent site. Je n'ai pas résisté à la tentation et la première vidéo que j'ai vue m'invite vraiment à en voir plus : montage très pro, qualité d'image vraiment exceptionnelle pour du net et intervenants qui ont l'air vraiment à l'aise avec la caméra. C'est génial.

Pour ce qui de la photo, il y a ce nuage intrigant dans le fond à gauche. Et puis ces assemblages naturels de blanc immaculé et de blancs traversés de dégradés de bleu... Bravo !

En voilà une qui a tout pour me plaire avec cette étendue glacée où la lumière valorise les teintes bleutées et en plus de jolies nuages bien placés dans la composition, superbe !

cette photo est extraordinaire... Tout est beau et dépaysant... le 1er plan fait de banquise, les montagnes enneigées parfaitement éclairées et ces nuages à la présence incongrue (surtout celui du bas) et aux jolies formes. Merci!

Bonsoir Paul,

this is a top shot and I can probably appreciate more than most as I spent some time in the Antarctic during my days in the Royal Navy but it was many years ago, more than I care to remember! The light and sharpness are first class and I like your pov too. The bank of mist halfway up the frame is surreal and adds to the incredible atmosphere. As you know the place is vast and your image re-enforces this. It is a superb capture and very well done.

bonjour paul de ta gallerie voici ma preferée, j'aime le paysage la lumiere et l'endroit.
la photo est de qualité, la ligne basse de nuage impressionnante, par contre la traine de nuage au dessus un peu plus clair, je ne comprends on dirait presque que c'est ireel...
point de vue technique j'orai peut etre si les condition me l'aurait permis mis en 2/3 mon 1er plan afin que la plaque de glace au centre tout en bas ne soit pas a la limite du cadrage mais le 1er point d'accroche du regard.

en tout cas sincerement voila une tres belle foto dans sa simplicité.
et meme si tu ne veux pas de points je t'en donne 2.
