Photographer’s Note
It was Sunday afternoon. I was walking along the canal in Nimes, and then it suddenly hit me - there was not a soul in sight. The shades of green conveyed the feeling of loneliness. The summer was nearly over and autumn was knocking on the door.

Welcome to TE, Vincent. Nice composition, I especially like the emerald river which draws your eye from the corner of the picture right to the center.

Hi Vincent,
Welcome to TE :)
Good framing and balance you have on this image,
how serene it seems without any interference.
Hope to see many more of your posts :)

Welcome to TrekEarth, Vincent. Good solid composition with the diagonals of perspective, but best of all in this shot is the light - it feels so "real" I can hear the insects in the trees and smell the air. :)
Beautiful first posting, thanks for sharing.

Excellent colour saturation. Nice composition but I want to see some people in it. It must add more life to it.
